This year, Wattpad will partner with TikTok influencers and Canada’s Drag Race competitors Kyne and BomBae to celebrate and elevate LGBTQIA+ stories and authors

TORONTO - June 8, 2023 - On Wattpad, Pride is more than a month. Leading webnovel platform Wattpad today announced the second annual Big Queer Book Report, the company’s  Webby-nominated year-long celebration of LGBTQIA+ stories and voices. First launched during PRIDE 2022, the Big Queer Book Report highlights LGBTQIA+ stories and authors with videos, BookTok and influencer recommendations, and curated reading lists on Wattpad throughout the year.

Building on the overwhelmingly positive response from readers worldwide, the Big Queer Book Report reflects Wattpad's commitment to promoting diverse LGBTQIA+ voices and stories year-round. New this year, the company will partner with TikTok influencers and Canada’s Drag Race competitors Kyne and  BomBae, who will share their favorite LGBTQIA+ Wattpad stories with fans around the world. Also returning for this year’s campaign is BookTok influencer Kevin T Norman, one of TikTok’s LGBTQIA+ trailblazers of the year.

With over 43M followers across its social media accounts and over 62B views on #Wattpad stories on TikTok, Wattpad will also leverage its global social channels to promote LGBTQIA+ stories all year.

This year’s celebration will feature over 80 diverse LGBTQIA+ stories from Wattpad’s PRIDE reading list, including Sondi Warner’s (@sondi_is_on) Into the Wild Dark (3K reads), Dani Brull’s (@danibrull) Willow Hills (18K reads), @owliecat’s Heart’s Blood (688K reads) and Kara Flynn’s (@howtosellmysoul) In Another Era (134K reads).
