2013 Wattys Winners Announced
Wattpad is proud to announce the winners of this year’s Watty Awards!
As the Wattys celebrate the most popular content on Wattpad, we relied on the opinion of the community to decide which stories should win in the Original Fiction, Popfic, and Fanfic categories. In the end, Wattpadders submitted more than 100,000 votes to determine which stories deserved the coveted Watty Award.
Thanks to our partnership with Sourcebooks, we were able to offer one very special prize for one lucky writer: the chance to work with a Sourcebooks editor to have his or her story developed for possible publication. Sourcebooks chose Kara_writes for the honor as they said she had “some of the strongest writing...and is very marketable with a great premise and good fit with the Young Adult print space.”
