TORONTO - April 1, 2026 - Wattpad, a leading webnovel platform and storytelling community, is bringing romance and fandom insights to BookCon 2026 in New York City. As a global destination for romance stories from a new generation of authors, Wattpad will gather leading voices in romance to discuss how fans are redefining the genre and building community online.
On Saturday, April 18, Wattpad’s “Rewriting the Rules of Romance and Fandom” panel will dive into the genre’s evolution, exploring how social media and digital platforms allow fans to discover incredible new stories and shape the trends that drive pop culture.
Moderated by Teen Vogue’s Creative Editorial Director Mi-Anne Chan, the panel will feature Wattpad superstar authors Jessica Cunsolo (With Me series) and Christine Duann (Kissing Is the Easy Part), alongside Woman’s World’s Carissa Mosness, and Wattpad’s Head of Content Alessandra Ferreri.
