Where are You Wattpadding? Instagram Contest

We are really excited to announce a new contest this summer. The “Where Are You Wattpadding?” campaign invites all Wattpad users to share photos of places where they access the Wattpad website or mobile app on Instagram and other popular social networks for a chance to win an iPad2.Wattpad is joining companies such as Starbucks and Levi’s in generating brand awareness through Instagram, which has experienced an impressive rise in popularity. Wattpad’s user base of early adopters closely aligns with Instagram and initiates a shift in marketing strategies as Wattpad looks to more closely target highly-engaged social media influencers.The majority of Wattpad users are influential to their peer group both on and offline. The goal of this campaign is to encourage discussion of the Wattpad site and mobile app on other platforms and networks.

Every week, Wattpad will highlight a sample selection of photos to encourage more creative entries. Finalists and then a top photo will be chosen at the end of the summer and the randomly selected winner will take home the prize of an iPad 2 and orange iPad Smart Cover.
