Naver has completed its acquisition of Wattpad in a cash and stock transaction valued at more than an estimated USD $600 million.

Leone Film Group and Wattpad will develop The Bad Boy’s Girl as a feature film. Based on Blair Holden’s Wattpad sensation of the same name, The Bad Boy's Girl is one of the most popular stories on the platform, with more than 220 million reads.

Constantin Film has acquired the rights to “Perfect Addiction,” the second novel of the immensely popular English-language “Perfect” series published on Wattpad, the world’s leading social storytelling platform.

The project brings together two of the entertainment industry’s most successful innovators in fan engagement and data-backed entertainment. Code 8 and Upload star Robbie Amell will produce and star in the project.
